(Worthy News) – The Chief Minister of India’s Haryana state has announced he proposes to add a Freedom of Religion Act that would criminalize forced conversions, Persecution.org reports. Commonly referred to as anti-conversion laws, such legislation has already been enacted in eight other Indian states. The announcement on June 16 by Manohar Lal Khattar has reportedly caused serious concerns to Haryana Christians: radical Hindus have used this law in other states to justify attacks on Christians and their places of worship.
Speaking to International Christian Concern (ICC), Pastor Vineoy, head pastor of an independent ministry in Haryana said: “There is a growing sense of fear and intimidation in the state. Threats from religious fanatics are common for pasto..

(Worthy News) – Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Monday told his Likud faction meeting that Israel’s planned annexation of West Bank land is not off the table, but is being held up by the US administration.
“The issue of applying sovereignty is in Washington. It’s not off the table, the option still exists,” he said.
Netanyahu had declared his intention to move forward with the partial annexation of the West Bank, under the auspices of the US peace plan, from July 1, but that date came and went without any movement on the matter, and in recent weeks, the prime minister has been largely silent on the issue. His remarks came a day after the coalition whip said that the government between Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s Likud party and Defense Minister Benny Gantz’s Blue and White was heading for “a divorce.”
Likud is currently at loggerheads with Blue and White over whether to pass a one-year budget, as Netanyahu insists, or the two-year budget pushed by Gantz, who is also alternate prime minister. [ Source: Times of Israel (Read More…) ]
